This project involved the design and renovation of a personal residence in North Carolina. Located in the small mountain town of Tryon, the acclaimed Tryon International Equestrian Center offered the ideal backdrop for the owners' global taste acquired from a lifetime of travel. Retirees from Houston, TX purchasing their first vacation home, the goal of the project was to create personal reminisce of their journey within the 1940s cottage architecture juxtaposed against the comfort offered by new furnishings for a fresh beginning.
My contributions involved sourcing local unique furnishings and fixtures throughout the cottage in addition to the adjacent guest house on the 3 acre property. Interior renovations involved color and material specifications and procurement, including custom upholstery and styling.
